You guys shouldn't bother Buck with those old knives...just send them to me, and I'll send you a nice shiney new 105 or 102
I think Buck will sharpen them for you, but cleaning could reduce the value to a collector. I think just a light coat of a good gun oil to help deter rusting in the future is all you need. I know some guys have commented that although a restoration removes years of sharpening marks and blemishes, it also removes some of the original grinding marks left by Al or Hoyt.
