need help with g-10

I bought a BM730 and a Boker-Nealy neck knife yesterday. When I got home I noticed a large amount of rust in the cut outs in the handle of the Boker. So I used Flitz to remove it. However, it stained or bleached the g-10 a light gray color. Is there anyway to get back the black color? Will it get better as time goes on or is it stained for good? Thanks, Jeff
 
Someone mentioned about using WD-40 to restore faded G-10. Try doing a search.
