I'm going to re-design the grinder that I made several years back, and I'd appreciate some input as to which bearings I should use.
I'm going back with the simple jackshaft type setup .... motor/varied-pulleys/v-belt to drive wheel. The original bearings I had used on this pulley shaft, turned out to be junk so I need something better without spending more than necessary.
I'm considering the 'casting mounted' type, with either the 2 or 4 bolt mounting, and I just wanted to get some experience-based advice as to which ones work well, and if there's any I should avoid.
