I acquired a heat treat oven that had an analog temp dial on it, i have replaced it with a digital and a ssr and have also replaced the coils, this was a 4 coil 110v and im going back with 2 coil 220v could any of you guys help we out with some wiring info, i purchased the temp controller @ ssr off ebay and they came with no instructions any help will be helpful thanks Robert

Who did you purchase the controller from? If it was Auberins they have a great customer service and will email you an instruction book. If not then type in the brand and model number in google and it will probably give you what you need.

Connect one end of both 220 coils to the power lugs on the SSR, the other end of the coils connect to one leg of the 220 power, and the other leg of the 220 power goes to the other SSR power lug. The other 2 terminals on the SSR are connected to the controller. You also need to connect a type K thermocouple to the controller. The controller also needs some power to run it. Can't help you there or what connects to what terminal of controller without a schematic for it or a wiring diagram. Are there symbols on the terminals of controller?

The controller is not power specific. That is in the relay or SSR/SCR you choose. Just wire the oven as if you were going to plug it into a socket. Hook those power feed wires to the relay (of matching power rating) power output. Hook the controller to the relay control (coil in the old days). Hook the line power to the relay power input. You should be all set.

I have a XMTD -3011 DDR I bought off Ebay with no hook up instructions. If someone has info on this unit I'd appreciate it. Finally getting around to finishing my oven.
