Need help with knife give-away.

I'm looking for someone who will be deploying to the "sand box" soon and could use this knife.
The steel was donated by Great Lakes Water Jet, the sheath by Spec Ops....the dog tag knife by it's mfr....the Gerber multi-tool my me.
The deal is this....we make the knife, put it into the hands of a military person about to embark...hopefully take pictures of the presentation, and stay in contact with the person while he/she is overseas.
The knife is 1095, 6" blade, 11 1/2" o'all, 3/16" thick, the handle is Wenge.
Please let me know if you know of a suitable candidate....being a "Once a Marine, always a Marine" I'm partial to them but it's not a prerec.....

I'm not sure who would be appropriate, but I would've loved one of those in Iraq :D

Very nice indeed! That would have been a great knife to have over the 20 years of deployments in the Corps.

I have a friend who is deploying this June. If this fits the bill, please send me an email with more info.

If you don't find someone here, go down to your local VFW or American Legion and ask around. I'm sure the folks there will know of someone suitable.

I've tried that, along with recruiters, etc...coming up empty....found one guy going to SE Asia for a training gig, but I'm hoping to find someone going to Iraq or Afghanistan...
