Need help with pelt clothing

I'm preparing for a fall/winter trip and I've never gotten big into cloth making. I was wondering if anyone could help out in the subject. Taking a pelt of deer/bobcat/etc and making fur head wear and other clothing ideas for the cold if needed.

Also, if you want stuff made, but not necessarily make them yourself, Gorlic's Trading makes lots of stuff. I have had many hats and things made by them.

However, they are old school, with no real web presence that I can find. You can google them, find a phone number, call them and have them send you a catalog.
