Next time, right after you're done, have a bleach solution handy. "wash" you hands AND your clippers in them, then maybe rub down the bottoms of your shoes. If you're wearing a long-sleaved shirt, take that off and put it in the washer, then wash your hands/arms down.digdeep said:I always get a case of poison ivy when I trim my front hedge (poison ivy on the ground where I pick up the clippings.) I've found that even if I immediately take a long shower scrubbing thoroughly with soap it still doesn't stop the reaction.
You guys have posted some good ideas about over the counter medications that I am going to have to pick up and try next time I trim. Many thanks.
