Hello all, I am looking to make the next step up in my knife game. I am interested in a nice EDC folder/flipper. I'm thinking price range is going to be 250-350 +/-

Top contenders so far are...

Spyderco Domino
Spyderco Southard Flipper
Chris Reeve Sebenza

Looking to keep the size manageable for everyday dressy clothes (slacks and shirt). Something size-wise along the lines of the knives above.

But, I am no expert, and am looking for some advise or suggestions from you all, thanks!

The Fantoni C.U.T. Sinkevich design flipper will run you around 375.00. Superb fit and finish.

nothing else in that price range worth looking at?

The Sebenza is such highly praised for it's quality and tight tolerances that it can be used as a standard for others to be measured.

With that said, they are not for everyone and there are plenty of other options in that range.

Spydercos at every price point are a good buy in my experience. Sage series, Hungarian, Gayle Bradley, sprint Para 2s, just to name a few.

Three Sisters Forge Beast is just about as solid as they come.

The Grayman Dua look awesome and you generally just hear good things about them. Might be a bit bulky for slacks though.

If you dig autos I'd take a look at Protechs. Pick one you like aesthetically and you're in business. Also, they have a few manual models that are fantastic. My only Protech currently is a TR-3 Integrity frame lock. I'd put it up there against every other frame lock I've had or held.

I like Emersons. Stock they aren't the best for slacks but if you find a po'boy (a production model customized to look like a custom Emerson) or get some aftermarket scales they would fit right in. A100 regular or mini, mini CQC7, mini or micro Commander are good starts.

Those are just a few suggestions but a good place as any to start.
