I am if I am interrupting but could someone let me know where I could get some steel from I am trying to start making me my own knife
 
Hi I am new to this and I would like to know if anyone knew where I could find some steel I'd like A2 steel but Im having a hard time getting some and this would be my first knife ever and I would consider myself a woodsman at a young age I've spent weeks camping,in the woods and I don't use tent or chainsaws I try to be self made and I think that every good woodsmen needs a great knife please let me know if you can help or teach me anything thanks, Chris

For the steel, you could contact Aldo Bruno (New Jersey steel baron) or a knife maker supply house.
For knowledge on making your first knife search blade forums for "making my first knife" you should come across "the count's" standard post which contains a ton of useful information and links.
 
I am wanting to make my very own homemade knife but can't find what Im looking for within my price range would like tips if your selling anything please let me know (Im not rich but I can find a little money)thanks
