Can someone help me figure out the name of this knife. 6249 is the only number on the knife. Thanks.

A picture would help. As would a brand name. Some description of the tang stamp. Description of the handle, etc.

That said, a quick google search showed that the Casexx 6249 is a Copperhead with a bone handle.

That's the pattern number of a Case Copperhead.
