If you have some pictures, I would apreciate pics of sheaths for single or double hawks thanks.

Here's a simple one I made for my 'hawk-- The main body of it is one piece of leather. The belt loop is just a little scrap sewn to itself. It would be pretty easy to attach this to a strap or baldric.

I duct-taped a little magnet on the inside of the flap to keep it closed-- to be replaced with a snap later. One of the little magnets I used is sitting next to the sheath:

Quick and easy!

there are two examples of baldric sheaths on a different thread a little farther town about rmj forge hawks.

whats the brand on that one?

No brand.
Forged in India and sold by Dixie Gun or Crazycrow. Don`t really remember where I bought it.
It was cheap, but it is sturdy and has a good temper.
I have cut of a little bit of steel on the top though.

i think i have that same one. i havent used it as i need to make a new haft but it seems to be a decent piece of work. at least good enough to throw in the truck toolbox for sure.

If you have a blade cover, I got a brown, rough-out leather sword baldric from C&D Jarnagin Co. Futs my CS Trailhawk perfectly. It's a bit pricey, but a good option if you want a more oldschool piece of leather to carry a hawk, but don't do leatherwork yourself.

If you want, I'll snap a picture or two tomorrow after work.

I actually have a Mag Lite torch carrier (i.e. a plastic ring with keeper) clipped to a flat nylon sling (thick stuff for mountaineering.) As long as you have something to cover the edge you are fine. Cheap and cheerful.

I have since upgraded to a shoulder sheath and that rocks!
