I have a set of Emersons that I need some info on. I am thinking of selling them but have no idea what they may be worth. The set consists of a 99 Commander (no its not the same style as 98) and a CQC7 both with satin chrome part serrated blades. They are both like new in the boxes. The only thing keeping them from new is the pocket clips have some scratches on them. I don't think I have seen any that didn't after handling them a little though. Anyway, the serial number is CN144 on both knives. Any idea what they would be worth if I sold them? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

NCBlades,

They really aren't worth much. I'm sorry. Tell you what, I'll give you $250 for the pair. Oh heck, I will even throw in a four tickets to a California Angels game. :p

Seriously, Don or RFrost or any of the Usual Suspects will have a lot more info. I do know they are worth a pretty penny....or two!

:D

Image added. Come on guys, I know somebody here must know about what they may be worth. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

You may or may not know the following. There were 500 "CN" sets made, all serialized in pairs. All were 50/50 serrated. The "CN" is the Chromium Nitrate coating on the blade, as opposed to the more common "Hard Chrome" that is on the current "Satin" knives. Many of these sets were split up and sold separately by dealers wanting to move the product.

I have seen them for sale on the forums for between $250 - $300.

Thanks for the info John. I was hoping they would be worth a little more though. I traded for them at the Blade Show and I have $300 in them so I guess I am doing ok. Take care.
