Need info on Buck Trapper

First post here.

My first knife given to me when Iwas a kid was a Buck Trapper. Still have it too, but when did Buck stop making them?

The stamp is Buck 311

It was made for Buck by Camillus and offered between 1968 and about 1990 or so. I do not know the actual end date. In 1986 Buck took four knives in house, the 301,303, 305 & 309. Camillus continued to make the others for some time but gradually they were discontinued, the remaining stock being sold off.

Darn shame they quit making them. The trapper is one of my favorite designs.

I was given the knife around 1975. I like it because it's easy to open and easy to sharpen, both important when you're 12 or so.
