Need info on old G10 Police

I've bought it year back from forumite.
Bascally it is regular full flat ground Police with one steel liner, 3-screw pocket clip, no Boye dent, except its sterile (marked ats55 and seki city, but no bug or Police inscription)
Was it special run? misprint again?
any info appreciated.

Flat ground and dentless show in 1999 and 2000.
Both are shown with Police markings.
I'm not sure if this is any proof though.

The bug on the blade is a much more recent marking.
 
Mine has POLICE on the blade. I know they were made both with and without that marking. I assume it was intentional, but I wasn't there at the time.
 
As Yablanowtz said, the POLICE marking has occasionally been omitted from one or more runs of knives so it could have been made that way intentionally. There is also the possibility of your knife's blade having been refinished. As for the bug, as Piet said, that's a much more recent addition to blades, none of the G-10 Police would have one.
