Need input on new balisong

Ivan, Please e-mail me as my server won't 'reach' Brazil anymore. I'd like to know when you're accepting orders for the customs and I'd be interested in a $100 bali as an EDC................

Ko, I am am just out of a long phone conversation with Ricardo lala, from Korth, and he is studying the idea of the less expensive balisong now.

He thinks he could offer this:

a 4 1/2", 3/16" thick K-100 (or D-6) steel blade, brushed finish

a milled and bead blasted stainless handle with some kind of holes or cuts pattern in it to make it easier to handle.

a nylon web sheath a la Gerber A/F

for US$ 130,00

This knife would have two possible blade shapes, clip point, dagger and tanto

Options

440C stainless steel blade would be extra US$ 10,00

serration in 1/3"of the blade would be extra US$ 10,00, full blade extra US$ 20,00

serrations on dagger blade are the same price per side of blade

This knife would have little possibiliteis for upgrades/modifications, to keep the price down

Screws, bushings, etc would all be the same used in the more expensive models.

To keep the price down I would have to get at least some 12 orders to get them started.

I'll be starting a thread tomorrow or in two days showing the CAD project of this bali but as I told before, interested parties may contact me now for us to work out the project details.

Is everybody happy, now?

I don't quite know what to do......I don't have another e-mail address but I'll look into opening a Hotmail account. Ivan, I'll be in touch! TIA, Dudley

Dawkind,

A little suggestion: don't go to Hotmail. USA.NET or Yahoo Mail is better.
<Font Color = Red>Hotmail sucks!<Font Color = Black>
I had some of my mail removed from the server for exceeding quota, although just 5 minutes before that I had cleaned the junk mail. I sent mail to their cust support but got no reply and never got my mail back.

I keep it only because people got to know me there ..

Yahoo! and USA.net gives you 5-6 Mb storage and USA.net never threatens to delete my mail although the notification says further mail would be bounced off.

Edited for Color

Hi, Ivan!
I'm also interested in one of those less expensive balisongs with stainless handles and no inserts. Either clip point or dagger would be cool (don't care for tantos).
Send me a message - I bet you still have my address.

Take care,

Leo
