Need knife ID

I recently acquired this knife, and would like to find out more about it. What does R.O.C. stand for? When was this knife manufactured? Price range?
Scales are stag & abalone. Profile of a buck by the thumb stud. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ROC usually does mean Republic of China.

R.O.C stands for republic of China, but I normally see it as P.R.O.C for people's republic of China.
Looks like maybe a decent knife as they went far enough to be specific with the Steel type ( cheapo's usually just say stainless / 440 stainless...ect )

The browning logo is more of an outline and not a detailed image. It is similar though.

No the deer logo used by Browning (for quite some time now) has 4 points. Yours has 8.

The "R.O.C" if it is the country stamp could be the old "Republic of China" now known as Taiwan. John
