Need knife pommel

Can anyone suggest someone who can make a pommel for a knife project of mine? I want it made from stainless steele.

Dan, most of the the knifemaker catalogs have pommels, though I don't know whether they'll have stainless. Worth checking. If you don't have the catalogs, do a search on dogpile for "knifemaking supplies" and you'll find most of the suppliers' websites.

You can also make your own. Check out Bruce Evans' excellent tutorial at http://www.homestead.com/beknivessite2/guard.html called "Making a Shell Buttcap." There's more to learn here than just making a pommel.

I use a local CNC machine shop where I live to get special parts made. The cost varies with each part. But if you want a custom part like a damascus pommel, they maybe worth the trip.
