My buddy is getting married in the first week of May, and he's been itching for a kukri for some time now. I don't have the money to get a full-priced one (I've got about $100 to spend, to include shipping) and I know that Yangdu has deals all the time on seconds and whatnot, so I figured I'd post here and see if any members can help me out.

Specifically, it looks like the model would be a Villager (not too swelled handle) with a blade in the 14"-15" range. I'm guessing this would be 19"-20" or so overall? I'm not concerned about cracks in the handles or rust, as I can remove rust easily and do a great epoxy job. Of course it needs to be sharp, but I think all HIs come pretty sharp. He's getting married on May 3rd and I'd like to find something appropriate for him, so I'm really looking forward to some feedback or suggestions :)

Thanks all.

I will dig in my box o' neat stuff and see if I have anything that could fit your need. Give me a few hours after the girls get off to bed.

I'd give Yangdu an email. She might have just what you are looking for.

Khuks make wonderful wedding gifts:)

We cut our wedding cake with one, and all my groomsmen got a bilton as a gift. HI blades have been very good to us:)
