Need modification on Microtech SE

Hi, don't know if this can even be done, but figured this would probably be the place to ask. Is i possible to have the kraton inserts taken out of my SE, and have rough textured G-10 installed? I really like the feeling of a rough checkered or "roughed" G-10 for grips. Would it be as secure as the kraton grips that are there now, I definately don't want to do it if tey are going to fall off.

Any comments are welcome, and if you have someone thats highly recommended for this type of modification that would be great. Thanks

Yes, it's possible. Asking in the auto forum, or over on MicroHolics would be a better way to get responses.

There is a guy named "Diplomat" (Matt) on the Microholics Forum that does Microtech insert work. He primarily does "exotic" materials. . .but. . .there is always a chance for G-10.

Matt does great work. He just put some burgundy ray skin in my Brend mini socom, it's beautiful. I don't know if he works with G-10. If not, talk to him about other ideas for inserts, you will be pleased with the finished product.
