Need more cool (camping/outdoor) gadget's

- Camelbak Motherlode: Cool stuff deserves a cool way to carry it! :D

- Snugpak Softie 3 Merlin sleeping bag: I still can't get over how small it packs and light it is. It's like a silken womb!

- Titanium Spork: Don't leave home without it.

- Optimus Nova multi-fuel expedition stove: Fits in a cup and runs on just about any fuel! I don't have one yet, but it'll be added real soon.

- Some sorta camera: so you can share pics of your adventures ;)

Will check the Motherlode.
Got a good sleeping bag already but will have a look at it of course - (one of the) best way to spend an evening is browsing the internet for cool stuff ;)
Titanium Spork - I do have an MSR Ti Spoon + fork
Optimus Nova - Now have a MSR Dragonfly, great thing, but makes soooo much noise
Camera - Have an Canon PowerShot S330. Will try to shoot a picture of all the gear in action during the holidays :)

Ted,
You have similar taste to me. You must be a classy guy :) !

I LOVE my Hilleberg Tarp 10XP. It's like sleeping in a hotel after the years spent under an army issue poncho (with my feet out in the rain!!)

You've gotta' have the ultimate clothing, of course. You might want to try some of that new moisture wicking stuff for those hot hikes. I could wear these clothes all day long.

1. Trail Grinder Short Sleeve Tee

2. EMS Trek Lite Shirt

3. EMS Adventure Zip-Off Pant

4. EMS Techwick Hat

5. SMARTWOOL Adrenaline Socks

6. A good pair of scrambling sneakers, such as MERRELL Chameleon Stretch shoes are also a great thing to wear.

I just wore plain old bang around clothing for years, and sweat my nuggets off. I'm sooooooo glad I smartened up and started wearing stuff designed for the hot days.

I've got zipoff pants on my to-buy list, so I can't comment on that yet, but the Smartwool socks are great. There's really nothing like a good pair of Smartwool socks. .

I've had a bunch of different Thorlo and SmartWool socks over the years. The SmartWool Adrenalines are a dream come true. They fit like a glove and are light enough for hot summer use, yet still maintain enough padding to keep the old dogs from hurting.
