Need new IWB strap for sheath

I purchased a CQB1 before X-mas and carried it daily until the weather got warmer. Great knife, carries great too except I feel the handle is a little too long for my taste. The one problem I have is with the IWB strap. After carrying for less than three months the strap is cracking where the ridges are in the middle. My question is can I get a replacement for less than $5, or should I use the strap from my Gryphon M-10 Cutlery Shoppe sheath, they are both pull the dot type snaps.
