Need opinions on a new knife

Lately I stumbled upon the BM Brend model. I think it is gorgeous, but the prices they are fetching is a bit high for me. I also discovered that Boker is producing a Brend model that looks very similar. What are your opinions of this knife? I have not heard anything about them from anyone who has experienced them first hand, so all I know is that they look great and use 440C stainless. Thanks for any and all help.
 
I think the Brend model was the first collaboration BM was involved with several years ago. It may have some limited collector value, but I would not pay too much.

On a very similar note, the BM 750, just recently discontinued, is a sort of "resurection" of the Brend. It's still available at some dealers.
 
I have handled the BM Brend and its sweet! I have also heard from several people that the Boker Brend is very crappy. Inadaquately thin liners make it plain unsafe.
 
Thats a shame as the price is very attractive. Anyone knnow where one could find a BM Brend for a decent price?
