Need opinions on handle shape - 2 knives

Hey there. These are two 6-3/4 inch knives I started the other day that I'm thinking could be pocket carry. Anyway, I'm second guessing my initial handle design and thinking about hogging off a little more steel. Any opinions on which handles would be better?? Thanks.

Normally we define length as the blade length .If total length please indicate that.
Handle is a personal thing .I like a straight handle , some like curves . You don't mention thickness .Balance is important and many will lighten the handle by drilling holes in the handle .A few large holes are better than many small ones .Balance point should be about where the forefinger is.

I like what I see in both the drawings and the actual steel. This past month I created about 10 blades with various style handles some with finger notches and some without and everyone felt good. But that might change once I put the actual wood on.

Nice designs. I am sure that if different handle materials are installed and the knives are used one will find out if changes should be made.

Thanks for the replies, Guys.

My bad, mete, no frame of reference in the pic. 6-3/4 would be the OAL, a blade that long would make for an awful big pocket carry knife. Haha. As far as thickness, I assume you are referring to the thickness of the future finished handle? I will probable try to make it fairly low profile for a more comfy carry, maybe 1/2-5/8 inch. I don't get too carried away drilling holes, but why are less big holes better than more small ones?

J_Von and KG4ULR, I hear what your saying, definitely hard to tell what will feel good without scales on and shaped.

I like the drawn handles better, especially the bottom one. I would put that on both. Or maybe even a little less in the ass too...

I find myself leaning towards the drawn handles too. that settles it. Thanks, all.
