Does anyone know of a company that sells the 440C Stainless Steel or a similar material in .187" thick x 1 1/4" wide x 28" long? I have access to a waterjet, so a 3" or wider flat material is okay too.
I want the material hardened so I don't have to ship the material back and forth. I can waterjet the blanks while they are hard.
I would need the flat bars to be 45HRC - 55HRC.
I'm doing 30 pieces right now at the above dimensions.
I can grind the oversize thickness to size in house if needed.

Any ideas guys?

Check Mcmaster Carr. They have hardened 440C bartsock...but I think it may be 20 HRC.

Looks like they have round bar at 55 HRC.

Navman, I did look at their site, and it looked as if the material was hard, until you read a little further and see that it was heat treatable instead. I'm just trying to save some time, and a couple of steps.

You might consider ordering the stock from a supplier and having it shipped to a HTer. The HTer will harden it to your specs and ship it to you.
A few industrial suppliers will do the HT and ship the steel. Check with places like Admiral.
