I go to a school that is very sensitive to any tool that can be used as a weapon, but i always like to have a knife on me. What is a good knife that is either discreet, or so low profile that I couldn't get in trouble?

I would probably be inclined to go with a traditional.

(The bottom one is in my pocket right now)

Something small enough for a watch pocket? Buck Knight 505 or Spyderco Manbug or Byrd Starling.

Case peanut or one of the smaller SAKs. I can't think of anything much less intimidating than the pen blade on a peanut.

If the carry of any sort of knife is deemed illegal by your school, the answer is that you DONT carry a knife. Any blade.

You dont want that kind of hassle.

If you on the other hand can carry a small pocket knife legally and are looking for a discreet knife, which wont scare most, then check out Spyderco Dragonfly.
A Swiss Army Knife (SAK) is an option, as others have mentioned.
Look at a SAK Spartan - cheap, reliable and should give years of service.
The Dragonfly is a quality item. Just not as cheap as the SAK.

Hope your school is not a "free fire" zone. That said, a SAK is good. Or discretely carry what you want in a briefcase or knapsack.

Your being a bit vague on your schools policy. If they have a zero tolerance for knives, then none. It is not worth it. They are not going to go for it's a tool argument. If they don't have a specific ban on knives it would help to know exactly what their rule is and what "very sensitive to any tool that can be used as a weapon" means and is interpreted by your school.
Hard to give advise until I know how the game is played

Welcome. If they are that "sensitive" then the only way to be "so low profile that I couldn't get in trouble" is to not use it. So then, what is the point of even carrying it at all?

And...if you want to carry it for SD purposes and you use it? You are in an even bigger heap o'trouble. Now you have been carrying a concealed weapon.

So, decide, what is more important? Not getting kicked out of school, or not carrying a knife?

That is what you should be really thinking about.

With everything that is going on in schools today, why would you ever put yourself in a position to find out what is deemed a weapon regardless of how small or discreet it is and have to live with the consequences.
How often do you use a knife at school ?, is it really worth getting kicked out of school over and possibly arrested ?
We all have to live with ridiculous rules/laws that we don't agree with, such is life. Have you been on a plane lately ????

I go to a military school in Kansas, and I just need something that would be seen as more of a tool than a weapon.

They're really vague. They just say no weapons. I use knives a lot, and I need to find something that they would just see as a tool.

"A commander can add to but never take away from a regulation"

The above is the reason military regulations are at times vague since the regulation is there to give the commander guidance and not take his/her ability to command. When you get to school simply ask your chain of command both student and cadre what a weapon is and/or what knives are allowed.

===edit===

I just googled military schools in Kansas it only showed one and it seems pretty exclusive and the tuition matches that. Do your parents a favor since they're doing you one and do nothing to get in trouble.
