Delica 4, V-10 steel and I got mine for fifty bucks. Get the stainless steel version PE if you want it to look more classy. Cant go wrong with that knife.

The Delica is 4 1/4" long, closed so that pretty much excludes it. Good knife though.

Ok then choose the Spyderco LAVA, it also comes in stainless steel handles so it will look classy and the knife it TINY.

Then he should probably be aware that many folding knives can fail if put to such ridiculous abuse.

Yo! Umm...not to be a spoiler and all, but is this guy's work all good with him using some of the blades suggested? I mean, at my work where we have perfected the art of box cutting, OSHA in no way would allow my bosses to allow me to use a Centofante/Onion, etc.. By Ca state law I have to use an OSHA approved box cutter. My current model is the S5 3-in-1 Safety Carton Cutter in neon green. It's ultra safe, legal at the work place and it (or a similar model) should be offered for free by the employer. Just my opinion.
Oh and if his work doesn't care...I'm super jealous!
