Need recommendation for a value fighting knife

How true! I hear of more knife attacks with kitchen knives then any other knife. Seems to be the choice weapon of family violence

I don't always treat my family with violence, but when I do, I choose steak knives.

Some times the Ka-bar Becker 15 is on sale, and being a trailing point makes for a good fighting platform.

GI Tanto looks promising, it's tough, see a lot of good reviews.
Marbles Folding knife looks fun, but kinda hard to find.
the F Dick sticking knife cool, i wish the handle isn't blue...

btw, any suggestion for some thing more Bowie style blade? in the price range of below 60 of course.

A lot of us think of BudK as a synonym for cheap imports. Ripoffs of other companies' designs.

You can also check out the Buck Nighthawk line. I have seen some of the short Nighthawks for under $40.

There are a few German companies that still make a premium version of this kind of knife, too. They're just in the $250+ price range.
