Need recommendation for purchasing a desktop cnc laser engraver

At one time I lasered a couple of kydex sheaths but I can't remember the settings. They looked pretty neat actually.

That gold color does look good on the Kydex - is that IR, Diode, or fiber laser

I can't even remember unfortunately. I think maybe I did Diode to engrave deep and then IR for the color.
