Need salt pot in tidewater VA

hey everybody,
i got a possible job but i will need help heat treating it as it is a 20" sowrd blade that will be reletively thin...

somebody on the boards offered to help me out before.. but i cant rememebr who it was. does anybody have heat treating facilities i could borrow for a sword? 20" blade an 10" tsuka.

help help

Chris,
You can bring it with you next Saturday and we can do it in the forge and quench in fast oil. I did 7 swords yesterday. I still haven't set up the salt pot (The forge does just fine for the time being), and probably won't until I move and build my final shop (still several years away). I do plan on finishing the 30" HT Gas Oven this fall/winter. When done, it will be available to you whenever you want to do the HT on a long blade.

if i had the blade forged and filesd i would totally take you up on this.. however.. i still have to order the steel for the blade *sheepish*
