I hate to buy an 18" piece of 440 when I only need a piece 4" X 1."
I know 1/16 isn't too common around most shops. I need to make a couple of miniature folders as necklaces (one for my wife) and I hate to use 1095 because of rust. If someone could spare a little I would appreciate it. If not, I'll bite the bullet and get the 18" piece.
I will be glad to pay shipping.
Thanks in advance!

Bill, I removed the buying offer...you can't do that here.

I have plenty of titanium in thin pieces. If that will do, I would be glad to drop a few pieces in a mailer to you. Send me an email/PM if I can help.

Hey, Bill, I've some some thinner CPM-S35VN if you want some. It measures .055" and is surface ground. I originally had a 3" x 18" piece surface ground, which took the machinist 3 hours because the thinness of the steel it kept rolling. I cut out a kitchen knife for Mom, and have the rest left for folder blades. Let me know what you need and I'll cut it out for you.

Thanks, Stacy. I was unaware.
These will be miniature lever lock switchblades, so I doubt titanium would stand up to the stress.
Zaph- thanks, but I really need 440. I'll just order a stick.
Thanks anyway, everyone.

Bill ,send me your address and I'll put you a chunk in the mail.
Also If you want it PG just let me know and I'll put it on the surface grinder first.

Thanks Stan! You guys are great here!
Ground is not necessary, unless it's not relatively flat.
Sent you an email.
