I'm looking to get my wife a good folder for Christmas.

Something that won't 'feel' too much like you're carrying a knife. I looked at the CS Mini-Lawman and the Mini Griptilian (pink)... I know there are many other options. Any experience with the 2 mentioned? Any input or suggestions on others is greatly appreciated.
Doug Ritter PINK Mini-RSK® Mk1 is nice too!

Thanks!

Im sure she'll love a cricket.

I would not advice any coldsteel for ladies, I think a small spyderco would be very good, also take a look at the SOG flash.

My wife won't carry a knife but she loves the small pink Victorinox key chain. It has nail file, scissors and tweezers. She loves it and uses it all the time

You're probably on track with the Grip or the mini...lot of color choices. I'm told women like that sort of thing. :D

Mcusta makes some very attractive knives. Many come in a decorative woven nishijin pouch, which a woman might find pleasing.
Plus they make darn good knives.

check out:
flash 1, twitch, boker subcom, spydie dragonfly, benchmade mini pika for some. Is there a size or price limit?

I think the person didnt recommend a cold steel mini lawman because the G10 is textured aggressivley and it might not be appealing to a woman.

Please explain why not mini CS for ladies? The lock seems sweet.

The lock is strong but it is very stiff and is one of the hardest knives to unlock. Also not much of a one hand knife because of the position and the previously mentioned strong spring and long lock travel. There are much easier to manipulate and user friendly lock types available.

There are a limited number of pink Spyderco Delicas out there. Also, a purple Delica.

Also, check out the purple Blade-Tech Mouse Lite and pink Blade-Tech Ratel folders. They are great for the money.

I'll second this. I wanted to like the Mini Lawman but don't. I don't know why they designed it so you have to press the lock down so far to get it unlocked, but it's annoying, and inevitably the sharp G10 digs into the lower part of one's thumb.

Beyond that, the blade to handle ratio is ridiculously bad (3 7/8" to 2 1/4"), the finger grooves are too small or at least awkwardly placed (IMO--but I have small hands, and they're way too close together even for me, causing my ring finger to rest on a point instead of in a finger groove), and the inside part of the G10 is sharp and can dig into your hand. As for the clip, it's set about an inch down on the handle and has way, way too much tension (IOW, it's entirely useless). I also think it's about twice the price it should be for a Taiwan-made Aus 8/G10 knife with plastic washers, which is why I bought mine on the exchange.

Colored delica

BTW, these are all my girlfriends knives. She rotates most of them for edc. My knives are separate.

See if you can pick her up a Spyderco Ocelot. She would love it.
