Here’s my favorite for that method of carry. I did carry it horizontally with a Spyderco G clip, but switched almost everything that isn’t huge to the Ulticlip at 4 o’clock.

In addition to the excellent craftsmen already listed, David Mary does great work. Here's my newest fixed from him with a 3.4 in blade (the top one). It practically disappears on my belt when carried horizontally.
