Note the spikes I made from 12" deer stand nails at Home depot laying on the table (R-F) in the picture above. Ground the heads down a bit and pushed the tube handles on from the front so they lie against what's heft of the head. Rounded the heads slightly too so one point won't hit the rear of another spike and damage it. A bit of shoe goo holds the tube grips firmly in place. And yes, about $2 each. Ground the tips trilobate shape copying roman archers arrow tips. They throw great!
