Semi custom product

if you would please look at my site
http://www.kynd.com/~graydg/kniveslist4.html
and tell me the knife you like the best. and the price you'd feel comfortable with
knowing it will be water jetted out.
I want to take, up to two of them
and semi custom produce them. to keep cost down for the buyers that want a
usable knife not caring if it was jetted or not
but still have eye appeal but not complicated.

the one or two I will make for this project will be altered from the original model to keep time in making them down and to preserve the original.
please give me your thoughts on how you'd like to see me do this..
tell me the m# and the price you could see yourself paying for it..don't worry about my feelings
just be fair knowing it will still take time and material to make these..
what you say Guys? thanks in advance for your help..
.
PS:
what about
the M#182 maybe?
I need input fast it's going to happen here shortly :)

maybe
http://www.knivesby.com/LS1.html ?

I'll second M#135 or even M#135M.

But my fave is M#166 even if it had a not so fancy handle.

#182 doesn't turn my crank much.

Price?!? I'm a cheap bugger - I have only spent over $225USD once, for an Elishewitz. I realize that puts most of the famous or exceptional makers (not all famous/popular makers are exceptional) out of my range but I found that the wanting of a knife does not always equal the having of a knife. If M#166 in a semi-custom came in under $200 I think it would be very tempting to buy such a great looking blade.

Just my .02USD or .0175CDN ;)

I like 124 (there is not a big picture though), 115, 135, 139...probably in that order. Carbon or stainless? Probably between 200-300 for a semi-custom depending on materials.

fla the 124 is NLA that's why no big picture.
I put that one to rest..it wasn't as good seller over all..
the ones with sub-hilts and at least rear bolsters are not a good candidate here.
#139 crowns will slow that down, just can't reproduce those baby's very fast :) ,, would be nice though..
the 135 is a possibility with a few changes , manly size, that one is 1/4" 154CM steel.
the 111 is a possibility..

thanks guys keep it coming :)

how about this one
http://www.knivesby.com/LS1.html ?

I like 125 and 139. Just do them without crowns, I'd say. As for price, maybe between $150-200? Never was much good at the pricing business. You probably have enough repeat customers, they will likely pay what you ask. Good luck with it.

I like 182 the best. In my opinion, profiling the blade doesn't mean jack except it saves you time if you can have someone else do it for you. It wouldn't change my opinion about a knife purchase at all knowing it was cut out with a waterjet. Go for it!

intersting

Whit without a crown is no problem..

I thought the Folder would get interest but no?
keep em coming.. :) you guys are a good pole for this..
