Need some help placing the stop pin area on a friction folder.

I plan on making my first friction folder and need some knowledge of where the stop pin should be placed. This is a small blade I'm doing the blade will be around 1 inch. I've done some paper designs but its just not matching up quite right. after 3 attempts to do it on paper i decided i need some help. Anyone know of a good way to design the pivot area?
 
What I used to to is draw a cirkel around the pivot
and mark a start and a stop position on that cirkel.
everything between these points has to go away ;)

maybe this is too simple, but I hope it helps
 
That's a good idea simen. Ill try that. As far as Google if i cant find it here i try Google. Nothing from the search is what I've been looking for. All their designs are not close enough to what i have to work with for as small as this knife will be.
