Need some info

I just ordered a Sog Topo Meridian and this will be my first Sog knife. Do Sogs come sharp from the factory? In past purchases of other knives they were not very sharp... Thanks for any info

Any Sog I have ever purchased was nice and sharp, not Spyderco or R.J. Martin sharp, but sharp enough.

The real test of a blade is not how sharp it comes out of the box, but how sharp you can make it after it's been used a bit. Of course, if it comes to you really sharp, you know how sharp it can be again!

I've had a couple of big SOG knives and they were sharp out of the box, but they were too big for me to have expected razor-sharpness.
