Need some knife suggestions!

That’s a little bigger than what I’m looking for but I’ll check out their other knives. It’s certainly a very nice knife! Thanks for the input!

As users, I love my Spydercos, and can personally recommend teh Native 5 for some with small to medium hands, it just melts into my hands. I also love the Paramilitary 2, and the PM 3 has a devoted following as well, being slightly smaller. This will give you a bit more idea of what you like in a fodler, without hurting you financially. You bring up an interesting point. So, with this ‘seek’ I’m really looking for a EDC knife for weekends, church, vacation, etc. Those days where the heaviest use will be cutting a piece of paracord or opening a box. In other words, very light use. I already picked up a couple of Civivi Elementums and I’m looking at a couple Benchmades for my EDC work knife. For sure… NO way I’m using a $700+ knife for any kind of hard work. I’m ok with dulling a blade slightly but I’m not taking a risk of seriously damaging a really expensive knife.

What I’ve been wondering about is these knives that are $1000, $2000, $3000, etc - what is the point? I mean, I see knives that are gorgeous but, at the same time, they’re SO expensive I’d even be afraid to carry them; because even riding in a suit pant pocket a knife can get scratched on coins and all sorts of stuff. So, what do people buy them for? Do they set them in a display or only carry them when they’re going to a gathering of knife geeks? I’m not trying to be disrespectful here, I’m generally curious what a guy does with a $2500 knife? Do knives like that actually hold value or increase?
