Bless her heart and her fierce and noble spirit. (It's got to be noble to have grace your life for so long!) I hope your son can stay with you a little longer. Take it easy on your self George. Relax, breathe, eat some of your flame throwing heat relish and polish sausage, pound some steel....whatever can give you a little peace. Keep the faith bro...you're worth it! I can only say, I'm glad to have met the two amazing people known as Helen and Indian George! Bless you both!!!

Thanks Guys. For the people that didn't know Helen this is the disease that she has been suffering with since she was 20 and she is only 37 years of age.
MACHADO JOSEPH DISEASE
Machado-Joseph Disease is a genetic disorder of the central nervous system that cripples and paralyzes. Symptoms appear when a defective gene causes a breakdown and there is a loss of cells in specific areas of the brain.
In 1994 a Japanese research team reported isolating and cloning the MJD gene. As a result a genetic marker for MJD is available for those persons at-risk or those who suspect they may be affected with this disorder.
Today, Machado-Joseph disease is also known as Spino-cerebellar Ataxia, Type 3,or SCA/3, a common hereditary ataxia.
Unfortunately, Machado-Joseph Disease has been known to be missed diagnosed as Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's disease and other forms of neurological disorders.
There is no known cure for MJD at this time.

I am speech less. I am so very sorry for what your are going through right now, may the lord bless you and your family with peace and love. I am here if you need anything. bubba-doll and i will keep you and you family in our prayers Dayle. I know the lord watches over us and is there for us all the time and even though some times we may have very hard times in out lives he is there watching over us. I must admit i don't know your family that well but i feel like a part of a big family here and they have helped me through hard times and every one here cares deeply for you. May everything work out as it should and your heart be filled with peace. let us know if any of us can help in any way.
