Sounds like she is on the right track. I would strongly reccommend a formal class. There are several great ones out there and some research is a must. Gunsite is always one of my favorites, also Clint Smith and Thunder Ranch. Vicky Farnam and Dianne Nichol do a great lady shooter's class and their book (Teaching women to shoot) for the Firearms Instructors out there is a must have for the library. Being she has decided on a Glock, check out the GSSF Glock Match in your area, fun and you WILL learn something. Besides, Glock sends armorers out to check over the guns and make sure they are up to snuff. Good luck and feel free to PM me with any questions.
