Not sure if this is the right place to put this...

I have a small damascus fixed blade I just bought. It's a no-namer, but I really like it. It came very sharp and looks pretty nice. The only thing is th crappy leather sheath and the stag handles. I would like to have the handles replaced with micarta, some nice pins (maybe mosaic) and possibly a kydex sheath made for it. Where or who could I contact to do this? I paid less than $100 for it, so I don't want to go all out moneywise, but would like to make this little guy a bit nicer. It would be nice to find someone who could do both the handles and sheath at once, instead of having to ship the knife twice. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Well, to give you an idea, I have a slab of black canvas micarta big enough for 2 scales, it cost me $20. I have some simple mosaic pins that cost me about $2/inch. Figure that plus some elbow grease, that's the minimum expense. You could make your own micarta, but the epoxy might cost more than $20...of course you'll have a lot more micarta though...

You can do it all yourself, if you're handy. Especially if you have a band saw, belt sander, and drill press. It takes as much or as little time to do the job as a guy feels like spending, but I guess you could rehandle your knife on a Saturday well enough.

I just did my first two rehandle jobs on some old kitchen knives, they turned out ok

post some pictures of the knife if you can. it might be hard to find someone to do both the sheath and handle. you might not be able to put a micarta handle on the knife but pictures will help decide this.
