Need Step-by-step help on how to remove thumb studs from my ZT0200

I love the ZT0200, but man-oh-man are the thumb studs huge and always in the way. I use the flipper exclusively and don't like thumb studs.

I believe that the studs are press fitted, not screwed on, and I don't mind messing up the studs to the point of having to throw them away, but prefer not to damage or mark up the knife itself in any way.

So how do I remove the studs? Let's assume a best-case scenario where I have a lot of vices, mallets, and other tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Yeh, the ZT 200 would be pretty much perfect for me without the thumb studs. So I'm following this. I was thinking drill it out though.
