Need suggestions about small fixed blades!

Coooooooooooooooool guys!

There is a question I wanna ask. Strider and TOPS have very good reputation in Australia and I can find them in almost every major American ONLINE KNIVES STOREs, but in our forum, these two brands have seldom been mentioned. Why? CURIOUS!!!

Troy,
Maybe you can't import them (Striders, Busses, etc) where you are. I read a post the other day about a guy having a hard time getting a (Strider?) into Australia. Maybe your country is like that.

Man, with a $350 budget, the knife world is open to you.

btw troy, i have sent busses and swamprats to australia. takes a little longer than domestic shipments, but all have arrived undamaged.

Look at http://www.agrussell.com/

They carry a variety of knife brands (including Dozier, and jsut about everything mentioned in this thread).

As is said on the forums over and over A.G. Russell doesn't carry crap, if it is on there site it is going to be quality. Now EVERYTHING there might not be to your liking (I know the feeling) but I'm sure they have at least one.
I wish I could afford a nice Dozier.

Wow........................

Busse . Swamp Rat nice!!!

MORIMOTOM do you still remember how long it took to ship them? 1 week? or more?

I need a short one, like 8-9 inch, for Busse maybe active duty, for Swamp Rat, shoule be HowlingRat! However for both, I have to wait untill the stock back. Any better recommendation?

Great thanks!

Get a Dozier if you want the knife you're describing. Besides having great tool steel, you'll get the other 50% of what makes the knife -- a working sheath that fits the steel...

I also like Bark River knives alot -- A2 tool steel mainly, but their weakness, IMO, is their sheaths which primarily are thin leather (not the type I like to trust in the field considering the sharpness their blades take)...

I know BladePrince will recommend sending the BR off to Dozier for their $30.00 sheath, which is good advice, but adding the shipping and all the Dozier at a bit over $200 is to me the better deal in a 3-4" fixed blade...

The other knives mentioned I'm sure are good customs -- I just don't have experience with them as I do the Dozier and BR...
