Need suggestions: Best hard use folder available for $100.

5 rat1s? Id bet the fith one would still be in the box long after you broke the single $100 folder.
That said, Id get a Becker 14, a Rat1, a Utilitac and a svord peasant for right at $100 and have all the tough cheap knives.

All a hard use folder, all well under $100. In fact, you could buy all three and have some money left over.
 
what about the Ontario Rat1 folder. very inexpensive, you could buy three for a hundred dollars. work'em like rented mules

OK, guys, I just got online today to let you know that I placed my order last night. I ordered a knife that was suggested here, and it'll be here tomorrow.

I'll post tomorrow after receipt to let you know what it is, and if I made, in my opinion, a good, or bad decision.

Thanks to everyone for the great suggestions. I guess we'll see if I took the right advice, for me, at the right time.

As an addendum, I'll be buying a few knives suggested here, just because there have been some damned good recommendations.
