Need Suggestions

I'm still smitten with the kephart or the green river. I think they would make a nice pair with the nessmuk.
Many of the suggestions are moving into my mind and i might wait to see the debut of the bird and trout.
A wise man once said to me, the best way to resist temptation is to succumb to it :)

Well, the Kephart has moved to 2nd place. The Early Style Hunter is at the top of the list, traditional sort of like the old Green River knives and as it happens i have a cheap kitchen knife with a similar blade type that is very effective in food prep. I realized that outdoor cooking is one of my favorite aspects of being well, outdoors.
I'll rest on it before making a decision and also to check the bird and trout
Happy Easter

You should really consider the Improved Bowie in 3/32" if you will be doing a lot of food prep AND you like classic styling.

I'm considering it i love to cook and consider myself a good cook but the early hunter seems to have more heft. Hester's opinions are worth considering and the improved Bowie already have a built in story which i like when i meet all the interesting people i run into in the woods
I'm still planning to sleep on it
By the way, Thanks for your accurate targeting in the sling shot competition. I never doubted you'll be the winner.

I have to admit that the improfed bowie is gaining in appeal, with a nessie and the hatchet, the Herters knife has classic lines, and it looks good for cooking and fuzzsticks. A good complement to the others. It is also John's interpretation and i'm sure an improvement to the Hersters version

Thanks for the suggestion
