I'd go for the light fast Tramantina, or 18 inch Ontario will do the job the easiest. The thin blade of the Tramontina will take a very sharp edge and the thin cross section gives great shearing ability. Plus the light weight will be easier to swing for long periods. I've tried the kukri and Golocks and if your not choping heavy wood, they are too heavy for the job.
I cut a lot of trails for archery shoots, the best I've used is the 2 handed CS. (Not because of the quality although it's ok for the price).
The length allows you to stand when cutting ground cover so saves your back, and when chopping holly or brambles, the cut ends tend to flick back. So the further you are away the better. With 2 hands it takes down branches and small trees easily. Recommended.
HoB, The BRKT golok is awesome, I have one at home, but it's shorter and beefier than needed here, IMO. I'd favor the golok for any kind of woodworking, but for clearing sticker bushes, machetes rule IMO
