A couple of weeks ago I was down in the dumps about missing one of my personal "grail" knives by minutes. After a few years of CRK love, there are only a few left that I would go to extreme lengths to obtain. While Annual LE's are not a particular focus for me, I have always wanted two - one for each birthyear of my boys. Well, I guess the stars aligned and now Nicholas (2000) has his to match Ethan's (2003). Happy CRK day indeed.

Pictures of course...

Ah, the boys. This is from a couple of years ago in San Antonio. Will look for something more current...

We may be a decade apart. But I hear ya. More importantly than the knives. ? I have a 2012. That would do for my first girly, Isabella. I guess I need a 2013 for Sophia.

Those are beautiful knives and a great pic of the kids. What a great idea you've given me ;)
I'm going to have to start looking for a 2008 and 2013 of my own. Going this route should be an easier sell to the wife :D

I recently scored my birthday large Sebenza here on the exchange. Been looking for a few years and it turned up without the Idaho Made stamp too.

Congrats! Those knives are wonderful! Definitely a great story to tell in the future.

You have a good looking pair, I know you are proud of them and the knives ain't bad either

That's awesome man. I've always thought it would be special to keep my sebenzas for life and pass them on to my future children. There's just something special about a knife, it's a part of its owner. It was a moment I'll never forget when my father passed his fixed blade down to me, I see the knife and I picture him. It's hard to explain, but I know majority of the members here know what I am talking about.

Wow....let me know if you are looking to adopt! I'm maybe a bit old, and they didn't make CRK annuals in 1972...

Hey, Brother -- that was a great catch, for sure! When you present them to the boys, I'll have to hear all about it. :)

Nice to see the story had a happy ending Steve!! Thanks for sharing!!
All the best, Dave

Brother, you started all this with the 2003 of course. Blame Idaho!

I think that your positive energy did some wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff when this all started to unfold a couple of weeks ago, and here we are. Thanks Huckleberry!
