Thanks to everyone for your responses. Lighting seems to be a common response, my plans are for twelve 4’ two bulb fixtures, 4 ft apart side to side and two ft between the ends, think that’s enough? The shop will have 12’ ceilings so I will loose some light due to height. I also plan on six four/outlet 110v and three 220v outlets on the long walls and four 110v/two 220v on the short walls.

You can hang them lower.

Light loses intensity with distance - it's non linear, so a little further is a little dimmer, a lot further away is More than a lot dimmer.
There is math involved - anyway the closer the better.

If you can get the walls and ceiling white, you gain lots of reflected light.
