Hello all,
I'm hoping you all can point me in the right direction for my next acquisition. I've looked up and down the Spyderco website, but I'm sure I've missed a few that would work for what I'm looking for.

Criteria:
-Caly Jr....ish... I like the flat grind, and the one I owned for about 15 minutes felt great in my hand.
-Nothing bigger than a Delica. It's my primary EDC, and I really love that dependable little thing....but that's about as big as I can carry in my pocket.
-Prefer G10, but would live w/ FRN.
-I'm not overly concerned about the steel. Everything Spyderco puts out is rock solid.
-Plain edge

Right now I'm thinking a Caly Jr. is what I need, but I'm curious as to whether or not there is anything similar that I would like just as much, and still be easy to find. If I understand correctly this knife is discontinued.

Thanks for letting me pay a visit to your forum! :)

Nice! That UKPK is a slippie isn't it? I've got no problem with that.
I saw a sage listed recently, and it did peak my interest. I forgot about that one.

Thanks guys!

the sage is a nice folder, has s30v and cf handles

+1. The Sage is awesome. I really didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The CF texture is just right and the knife performance is also really good. I don't think you can go wrong with a Sage. Between the size, CF and wire clip it quickly became a nearly perfect EDC

Thanks everyone for your input. I opted for the Sage, and am completely satisfied. Not too big, not too small, flat grind, great steel, great scales, and I love how low it rides with that wire clip!

I think I'm still going to have to hunt down a Caly Jr, but the Sage is definately going to be the primary resident in my pocket.

Thanks again everyone. You hit the nail on the head with this one!

Congratulations on picking the Sage; it's a great EDC knife. I wish I'd bought a second one before the 2009 price increases took effect.

While I like the laminated ZDP-189 blade on my Caly 3, I don't care for the smooth carbon fiber handle compared with the textured CF on the Sage. I'm sure you'll be very happy with your choice.
