It's neat little blade. Never carried it as a neck knife, though. It hung on my keychain where I found it to be very handy. Stout little bugger. You won't be using it in the kitchen as a paring knife but it will do any dirty jobs that could possibly be done with a two finger grip. It's a pretty secure hold, better than you'd think. The micarta is grippy and the thumb grooves are deep. It's also pretty discrete, only a couple of people seemed to take notice of it with my keys. Hope that helps.
frank thanks much i went ahead and purchased it, i really like all of tops knives, my buddy ordered the wolf pup along with mine, i think the next one i get is that streep scalpel that is just one wicked looking design that i like, o and the ferret as well, god i hate knives......one can never stop
Scalpel is awesome as a necker and has great concealment capabilites otherwise. Definitely a better "pairer" than the pup, but has a wicked point at the tip though. Take care not to snap it. :>)
Wolf pup is nice, but it is thick. They have other newer ones now that aren't as thick. Also, I know the Wolf Pup is pretty heavy, and therefore not a very comfortable neck knife.
does anyone know aobut the ferret by chance, im not o into the neck knife idea, i saw a sheath that carried a smaller knive tip up and the withdrawl was flawless, do oyu know if anyone around these parts (Bladeforums) could make such a sheath for either my prairie fox thats coming in the mail or the ferret which i plan to order pretty soon??
