Need your input - POLL on a maker's mark

Hello,

I have decided that I would like to start marking my blades before they go out for test, as gifts, etc (I am not quite there yet to sell). I know I might have simply typed my name in Photoshop and use that, but hey - why not try something new (albeit not cheap). So I have finally decided to give the DesignCrowd a try. Now - I will post my feedback/experience with the whole process later on my blog, but here I would like to kindly ask for a little of your time and check out the designs that are in the wider pool.

The below link will take you to a poll (no spam or similar BS, I promise) and just check them out and if you find something that you particular like (or dislike) just leave your rating or feedback - as much as you feel like doing.

Of course I will pick the winner myself :) but hearing opinions of other may allow me to look at the designs from different perspective - something I really need after going over 200 of them in the past 10 days (I am close to start getting nightmares with my name on them)

If your mark is to become your brand (in a marketing sense), the simplest is the best.
 
just my 2 cents, but i think all marks should have a full name and city/state. otherwise people in the future ( including potential customers) will have a vague idea who made it, or how to find you. excellent designs though !
 
Thank you. I also prefer the logo that contain my name (or at least part of it). But I have refrained from the state - I come from Slovakia and live in Germany - I do nor really feel like the country is of much relevance.
 
One purpose of a logo is so folks later could look at knife, and using info from logo find you to order a custom knife. If you name is well known enough for a search engine to find it with only your name, that's plenty.

I am lucky there I guess, there does not seem to be another knife maker with name 'Matus' or 'Kalisky', plus I am using my real name in pretty much all internet activities (fora, knifemaking blog, FB, etc.) so I am easy to contact.
 
Just wanted to add that the POLL is still open and that I really appreciate your feedback and opinions :)
 
Great idea. Had no idea something like existed. Left my votes. There are some nice designs. Maybe will use that offer myself in the future.
